Question Details: The payment amount was established by a quote that the landlord had aquired. I went to an open home at the property and the damage in question has not been fixed. If he sells the property as is, can I take him to court and get the money back that I paid to repair the damage?

No. If the Tenancy Tribunal has awarded your landlord compensation for damage that you caused, the landlord is not required to spend that money on repairs. The landlord may have decided instead to sell the property "as is" and accept a reduced price for the property.
