First, you should raise your concerns with your lawyer. You can ask your lawyer to explain the timeframes and the amount of time being spent.
If you are currently unsure how much time your lawyer will need to spend on your case, you should find out immediately. It may be that a large account is growing and looming that you are not aware of. Ideally you should reach (or have already reached) agreement with your lawyer on how much time is generally required. You can minimise a lot of concern by asking for notification of how much time is being spent on your case and by agreeing that you will be billed regularly as the work progresses, with an update on what is required next and how much time it will take.
