Question Details: The 2013 Holidays (Full Recognition of Waitangi Day and Anzac Day) Amendment Bill says if Anzac Day falls on a weekend day, then the following Monday is a holiday. What happens in 2038 when 25 April is Easter Sunday? Is Anzac day Tuesdayised or does it fall on Easter Monday, meaning we miss out on the extra holiday?

Neither public holiday would be Tuesdayised. If Easter Monday and ANZAC Day fell on the same day they would be treated as one public holiday only for the purposes of the Holidays Act 2003.
