Question Details: My husband works for a very large New Zealand company and has done so for two years. He was recently offered a great promotion but when he read the contract he noticed they had included a 90 day trial clause! Can your company give you a promotion with a 90 day trial clause after working for them for two years?

No they cannot include a 90 trial period. Trial periods are only for employees who have not been previously employed by that employer. We recommend your husband points this out and asks them to remove the clause from his employment agreeement.
