Unless 'working days' is specified, it will be 30 calendar days. However, we recommend reviewing the rest of your employment contract to see whether any other stated notice period distinguishes between 'day' and 'working day'.

If you have any further queries, we recommend heading along to your local Community Law Centre. Please remember to bring a copy of your employment contract with you. To find the Law Centre nearest to you, please go to this website: www.communitylaw.org.nz.
