Question Details: I own a flat in a large building. Due to time and some neglect, the roof needed attention. The Body Corporate accepted a quote last year from a plumbing service to repair rather than replace the roof. When the job was finished, it looked like they had only done one side but they said that the other side was okay. We've now found serious issues on the other side — holes, rust and damage underneath the roof. We want the roof removed and replaced. The money we paid to the plumber — over $10,000 — is wasted. Can the Body Corp take the plumbing service to the Disputes Tribunal?
